Our Master Naturalist group got tour by the park superintendent. It will have some wonderful facilities someday, once the State legislature gets off their tails and releases funds that have already been appropriated for the parks. The state continues to send the funding to other needs, in spite of the state laws. We saw horse trails already cut and used by equestrians, star gazing ridges that hobbyists already use, a lovely lake, and amazing possibilities.
Beautiful part of Texas with varied terrain that greatly needed protection. The recreational amenities it will provide will further benefit the people of our state, and encourage out of state tourists to visit. Looking forward to the opening date.
